Mueller Findings

Introduction

What needs to be proven to show an attempt to obstruct justice? a. Obstructive act - an act that "corruptly or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication, influences, obstructs, or impedes, or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede, the due administration of justice." 18 U.S.C. § 1503 limits this to federal judicial proceedings, and  18 U.S.C. § 1505 applies this to a pending proceeding before Congress or a federal administrative agency  (Think DOJ, USPS, FEMA, DOD, etc. etc.). A pending proceeding could include an informal investigation by one of those executive agencies.
b. Nexus – Fancy word for the connection between what you did and what investigation was interfered with. Generally this just points to whether or not what was done IF it were to be carried out or not would actually affect a particular investigation.
c. Intent – The government has to show you intended to obstruct a criminal investigation because joking around about shutting down an investigation after having many beers is not actually obstructing anything when everybody knows that your drunk talk really doesn't mean anything other than you're going to have a hangover in the morning.
In amongst all those 448 pages of text Mueller broke down the above three items for each of the 14 possible misdeed's and what I have done is pull them out of the PDF document word for word and formatted it to fit on a webpage. That is why some of the lines are broken up and don't seem to end where they should. Each of the pages in the PDF document generally have references at the bottom so there may only be one or two paragraphs on a single page and then it will continue on the next page. And then some pages have a whole lot of text and very few if any references at the bottom. So some of the writing per page is just a few lines, and some are many paragraphs.

You'll also notice that some of the different categories start on the same page so some of the entries will have the same page numbers listed as to what page they are on.

I made no changes to the text. I did not highlight anything nor did I add anything or exclude anything. I am putting this together because reading the entire 448 pages not only takes a long time it is legal writing and it . . . is . . . boring. So by pulling out only the conclusions that Mueller made you can decide for yourself what you think about the report.

What are the numbers that show up in the middle and/or end of sentences? These numbers are the reference number so you can look up the actual text of what was said verbatim. This report is 448 pages long and broke it into two volumes where each volume starts its numbering over at 1. To look up the reference to find out what document you have to get to see the verbatim text you will have to get the PDF version of the report and generally the reference numbers are either at the bottom of the page you are looking at or possibly the page before or after for the most part. That reference number will then give you the name and line number(s) of some document which will you will have to request from the DOJ through the freedom of information act.

Page numbers

The page numbers showing the left-hand column is the page number in Volume II of the Mueller report which begins on PDF page 208. The page right before the beginning of Volume II is labeled 199 because the header pages and index pages are either not numbered or numbered with small case roman numerals. Based on that something shown as being on page 44 which is the 44th page of the text of Volume II is on PDF page 256, that is why I have included the column PDF Page which will give the PDF page number for the same entry.

When talking to other people and/or anybody in the government you have to reference Volume II page so and so because they are probably looking at a printed out copy and that does not have the PDF page on it but when you look at the page number for your PDF that number is 212 pages ahead!!

So basically add 212 to the page number printed on the bottom of Volume II to get the PDF page number. And if you are looking at the PDF page number subtract 212 to get the page number at the bottom of the Volume II page.

Redacted Markers Redacted parts are marked by two capital X's followed by the reason given for the redaction and then two more capital X's. For example XXGrand JuryXX would mean things were redacted because they were grand jury information.
